Richard and Maggie Cripps welcome you to Agdon. We farm here with our son Ollie,
he is married to Claire and they live in the cottage by the farm gate. We
also have a daughter Jo and a grandson Ben, they live in a village near Woodstock.
We are tenant farmers and our landlord is The Marquess of Northampton, he
lives at Compton Wynyates.
The farm is 520 acres (210 hectares) and we grow winter wheat, winter barley
and beans. We have a few beef cattle in the cattle shed, 125 breeding ewes
with their lambs in the fields by the house, Beavis and Bertie are the names
of our dogs.
Open all year round, Agdon Farm offers traditional Bed and Breakfast accommodation
in the heart of Middle England. Situated on the Compton Wynyates Estate this
elegant Cotswold stone farmhouse serves a fully working farm with animals,
large garden and picturesque views of the countryside. |
